This year, we are turning up the excitement with an open charity festival! Up to 48 teams will take to the water to battle it out across a thrilling 200m race course—all while raising money for a charity of their own choice.
Whether you are racing on the water or cheering from the banks, it is guaranteed to be one of the most unforgettable family days out in Milton Keynes this summer.
🐉 What is Dragon Boat Racing?
If you haven’t tried it yet, dragon boat racing is currently the fastest-growing water activity in Britain—and definitely the most fun!
Here is how it works:
- The Boat: A massive, brightly colored 30-foot dragon boat.
- The Crew: Up to 10 people paddling, plus one energetic drummer sitting at the front to keep the beat! (Don’t worry about steering—we provide an expert helm at the tail to keep you in a straight line).
- The Experience: Absolutely zero previous experience is required. All you need is plenty of team spirit, a great sense of rhythm, and a willingness to get a little bit wet!
