Campbell Park Milton Keynes

250 Acres of Stunning Parkland — Right in the Heart of MK

Campbell Park is Milton Keynes’ centrepiece green space — a sweeping 250-acre park designed by landscape architects as the green heart of the city, sitting directly adjacent to Central MK and connected to the wider Redways network. Free to enter, open year-round, and one of the finest urban parks in England.

From wildflower meadows and woodland walks to outdoor theatre, major festivals, public sculptures, and panoramic city views — Campbell Park is where MK comes to breathe.

What’s at Campbell Park

Wildflower Meadows & Open Parkland
The park’s open grasslands are managed to encourage wildflowers — a spectacular sight in late spring and summer when the meadows come into full bloom.

Woodland Walks
Mature woodland areas throughout the park offer shaded walking and cycling routes, with the Redways connecting Campbell Park to the rest of the city.

Outdoor Theatre — The Bowl
A natural bowl-shaped outdoor performance space that hosts major events throughout the year — from tribute music festivals attracting thousands, to outdoor theatre, cinema screenings, and community events. Some of MK’s biggest and most celebrated events take place here.

MK Gallery
Located at the edge of Campbell Park, MK Gallery is the city’s leading contemporary art venue. Free permanent collection. Major touring exhibitions run throughout the year.

Public Art Trail
Campbell Park houses a permanent outdoor sculpture collection — large-scale works by respected artists positioned throughout the park. A free self-guided sculpture trail is available from the park’s information boards.

Views Over MK
Walking to the higher ground in the north of the park gives panoramic views across Central Milton Keynes and beyond — one of the best viewpoints in the city.

The Redways Connection
Campbell Park connects directly to MK’s 150-mile Redway cycling network — making it an ideal starting or ending point for a cycling route across the city.

  • MK Tribute Festival — annual summer festival in the park bowl
  • Fireworks events — seasonal displays
